Like most others we went to turn the oven on, heard a pop. The breaker had tripped. Reset the breaker. The clock works and the burners work but the oven or broiler do not work. I am betting it is a clock/timer board. Is this correct?
If it is how hard is it to change out the clock/timer? Thanks Stu |

Hi Stu,
Yes, it sounds like the electronic clock/oven control board went out. Here's the electronic clock/oven control board for your model you can order: Manufacturer part number 318185475 is RepairClinic item number 1036188 318185475Here's the parts diagram for your model: http://c.searspartsdirect.com/lis_pn...2063-00001.png then panel#19 should have screws underneath the knobs then that will pull up and you can get access to the clock/oven control board. Jake

I forgot to mention about your thermostats that might have caused it too, but the pop sound you heard it sounds more like the clock assembly, but just in case the new clock assembly doesn't fix it, ohm your 2 thermostats out for continuity, or jump them.
Its in the back or top of your range, so you would need to pull your range out to get to it, then remove the back access panel, Unplug or turn the breaker off to your range first. If you don't have an ohm meter, you could jump it by taking the wires off of it and tape them together with electrical tape and see if your oven comes on. They are #141 & #141B here: http://www.searspartsdirect.com/part...2063-00002.png Here's #141: Manufacturer part number 318005201 is RepairClinic item number 937874 318005201Here's #141B: Manufacturer part number 318003606 is RepairClinic item number 941739 318003606Jake
