Default Kenmore #10656569400 Timer

Have A Side By Side Kenmore Model #10656569400. Freezer Frosts Up Then The Fridge Side Does Not Cool. Ordered Bimetal Defrost And Separate Timer Per Other Website. Replaced Bimetal Defrost But No Change In Problem. After About One Week Problem Returns After Defrost Rear Of Freezer. Looked For Location Of Timer However One Does Not Seem To Exist. I Have Torn The Unit Apart. Back Inside Wall Of Freezer. Front Inside Of Fridge. Behind Bottom Front Kick Plate. Rear Lower Panel Of On Back Of Unit. I Am Guessing That Timer Is In Circuit Board In Front Top Inside Panel Of Fridge? Appears Not To Be Cheap. Before I Order I Want To Make This Is The Next Place To Go????

Problem #2 - After You Open And Close The Fridge Door, The Is A Hissing Noise Of Air Escaping From The Fridge. Don't Know If Related Or Not?????

Thanks - Mark

Default Hissing Noise

Thank you for your quick reply. You do not know how many places I have looked to get an answer.

HISSING NOISE - any thoughts on the hissing noise when I close the fridge door. Lasts only a few seconds, then stops.

Thanks - Mark

Thats normal Mark, just the suction from the vacuum when you close the door, mine does that too.

Default Hissing

You have more helpful than anything else I have tried - websites, sears, repair friends, etc. If anyone has any doubts - this is the best $5 I ever spent. I wish I would have found your website a lot earlier.

Thank you - Mark
