I followed multiple threads to remove my pump and sump and replace.
It's all replaced and hooked back up except I now have a leak somewhere underneath at the drain pump. I tried to look at a scematic to identify the actual part name. but the drain hose connect into that part. It's either that part or the one behind which I think is the pump. |

Yes that is the part. pressure switch, I removed and put the o ring and cleaned then put back in place.
started back up and it's leaking from that part. As It was draining and leaking I was able to push that part in and stop the leak. So my options are probably Buy a new pressure switch buy a new o ring or can i pipe glue that part in place. I would think that would prevent removal of motor in the future? It does look slightly different, but I doubled checked your model# and the part I posted of the pressure switch above is correct for your model.
Seems that part is on back-order at all the online appliance part stores as well, and unfortunately they don't make the o-ring a separate part you can purchase only. You may want to take that o-ring to you local hardware or plumbing store in your area to see if they can match it up. Jake

Ran a cycle no leaks. Thanks for your site. |
