Ok Matt, your model has a lock-out feature for the cooktop, read page #8 here:
http://www.managemyhome.com//mmh/lis...M/L0408368.pdf And see if thats what happening, since the oven is working, the new control board may come with a default lock-out on for the surface burners. Jake

Jake,
I tried the lock out feature and it didn't work. I tried it a few times, locking it, and then unlocking. I still get the error message FS 01. The burners start to heat up for about 1-2 seconds and then shut off and the error FS 01 appears where the temp level for the burners os usually displayed. Matt

I'm not sure what that error code means, I can't find it listed anywhere online, you should have a tech. data sheet somewhere in the range that should tell you.
Other than that, lets see if another tech. or member thats experienced this can shed some light on what the error code and solution may be. Jake
