Default Kenmore Elite 106.74202402 icemaker

Hi

I have a two year old Kenmore Elite 106.74202402, with the water in the door and the icemaker just in the freezer. I changed the filter recently. The icemaker makes ice but it doesn't get broken up and pushed out of the maker. I have poured water onto the ice to get it out a few times, but after it forms new ice it won't break up the new ice. This has happened a couple of times before, but it always started up again after I broke up the ice once. Do I need a new icemaker?

Also, when drinks or produce are placed at the back of the fridge, they freeze. Fridge is set at 38, freezer at 3.

Thanks

Wolfie

Its fairly easy, you just remove the 2 top screws from the top of it, then it may have 1 screw on the bottom, then once its unmounted you just disconnect the electrical connect to it from the back where it plugs into the inside of your freezer, and thats it.

Then install the new one.
