No. I did some more searching on the site and found a possible solution to check the pump. I followed your step by step instructions and it was very easy. I have run 2 loads since cleaning the pump out and so far so good. Thank you for your site. This is the best 5 bucks I've ever invested.

It lasted for 2 loads on the 3rd it will not drain again. I rechecked the pump and it was clear. I did have a F21 code which was expected.

If you can't find anything else in your water pump filter, then its likely you'll need to remove the tub to pump hose#6 here:
http://c.searspartsdirect.com/lis_pn...2048-00005.png
by removing the #5 clamp and the drain ball#4.

If still nothing is clogged, then its likely you will need a new water pump. Thats what error code F21 refers to, draining problem.

The water pump changes from #8540024 to #W10130913:
(The manufacturer has replaced part#8540024 with this item, part #W10130913.) (Manufacturer part#W10130913 is RepairClinic item #1373005.):

Let me know what you find.

I checked it all again and found no further foreign debris. Pump motor would try and start but hum and vibrate. It also got pretty warm to the touch. I unplugged and let sit till cooled down and no change. I did order a pump and it should be here in a few days. I unplugged unit over night and tried again this morning and it worked. Very noisy but worked. I stoll think its the pump. Will replace when it gets here and let you know.

Problem fixed. I just installed my new pump that arrived a couple days ago from the repair clinic. Works like new. Also maybe nothing but this new pump is much quiter than the original. Subtotal cost this route was $101.00 compared to $400.00 Sears quoted me. I'm a believer. Thanks again.
