Hi guys, I have a kenmore 80 series washer, model 110.27812692. When I turned the unit on, and water starts to fill, I got water all over the floor. So I pried the back off, could not figure out how to disassemble properly. I noticed the hose coming from the water hookups was chewed off near the hookup. So I chopped off the "eaten away part" which has part # 3357328. Then the hose was too short so I ended up mounting the ports kinda sideways, not with hot on top (or was it cold). I literally cut the metal in the back to accomodate the shorter hose since the original hose had a built in 90 degreee turn. anyhow, sounds like a good way to rig it but now the washer overfills. What the heck did I do, does that hose inlet valve have to be mounted in the original orientation, did I unplug a sensor? Thanks all....I appreciate the help in advance.
