Question Re-connecting HE3T washer and HE3 dryer

OK. I managed to have these two "ladies" transported to my new address. But I haven't been able to connect them to the w/d hookup here. The verntilation equipment for the dryer doesn't seem to "jive" with the hook-up here. Also, I'm wondering if there is some kind of magical order to removing the transport bolts from the washer.

If I got past the anxiety of taking out the transport bolts and had the strength to shove the washer, I'm sure I could get her hooked-up in a jiffy. I'm willing to grab a neighbor to help out with the shoving. Does anyone have insight about transport bolt removal -- am I making a mountain out of a mole hill?

Will the local Home Depot have something for me to use to attach the dryer to the house's ventilation system?

If I don't get this resolved today, I'll have to go to the laundry mat

Thanks for any help!

Who put the transport bolts in for you? They are usually just taken out from the back of the machine with a wrench or socket.

Yes, any hardware store should have the dryer vent kit to hook-up to yours.

Talking Yea! I'm doing laundry!!!

I came home today to find that my husband had completed this re-connect for me. He'd set everything up for the transport and finally saw my desperation -- not to mention needing shirts for work.

Now I'm catching up on a week's worth of laundry and loving every minute of it.

thanks for your help, Jake!
