Hate to bring up an old thread, but my white kenmore dishwasher has done the same thing. I took off the panel to allow access to the control board. Is the part you are referring to include the latch assembly? If you could post the part number for a white one I would be most appreciative.

Another blinking light problem "Heated Dry" light flashing, washer will not work. have reset power breaker still nothing, pressing "Start/Resume" button just causes the "Normal Wash" light to flash with the "Heated Dry" and pressing "Cancel" will cause the "Cancel" light to flash also. Turning the breaker off/on just resets washer to flashing "Heated Dry". Mod 665.13832K601 Any help would be appreciated wife is already looking online for new machine...is she right?
