My Kenmore oven model number 790.93762000 serial number VF00738855 with back panel number 316123617 will shut itself off soon after it reaches the set temperature and the door lock opens and closes the door right before the oven shuts itself off. Any help would be appreciated.

I have had a couple of Frigidaires ( they built your Kenmore ) do something similier....door lock kept setting and unsetting....but on most of mine the oven would not work from the get go.

2 of 3 needed new clock, 1 of 3 needed clock and lock ( figured the lock was damaged from running soo much )

Oven temp sensor -normally- ohm at approx 1000-1100 ohm at room temp.


Electronic control - still need seperate coloured sticker on front!

When the problem starts the light switches from "oven" to "lock" and it blinks while the door opens and closes and then shuts itself off . Do you think I just need a new electronic clock control or do I need a oven temp sensor as well?
