    Default Sensing / All lights flashing. Control panel issue?

    Model Number: 587.16079201
    Brand: Sears Kenmore

    This is a great forum! I have a 6 year old Kenmore. It holds in sensing mode and then attempts to start while the Washing,Sensing,Drying,Sanitized and lean flash with the 6 hour delay light. Got alot going on, huh?

    What is the typical life of these machines? Is it worth repairing?

    90% of the time its a bad control board when this happens.

    Now the $64,000 question, is it worth putting this much money into it? The answer is if its getting close to 8-10 years old, NO.

    Thank you for your quick response and honesty! I'm going to go "browsing" for dishwashers this afternoon. If I get sticker shock, I'll be ordering this panel tomorrow.
