Kenmore Oasis Elite stops at spin cycle
Brand:
Sears Kenmore
Age:
1-5 years
I have a Kenmore Oasis HE model 110.28082700. On any setting, it will run though until it reach the spin cycle. With about 10 minutes left, it spins slowly, stops and drains, beeps and flashes the ul message and shuts down. It does this with either 2 hand towels inside or a set of king sized bed sheets.
At the repairmans suggestion, I replaced the main board #W10189967 and a sensor at the bottom of the washer #W10137685 and the problem has not corrected it self.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

I wish I could help you on this, but I quit Sears just before the Oasis models came out, and haven't had the training or chance to work on any.
Another member had the same issue, lets see if he replies to the post I just posted:

Thanks for the tech sheet Jake, I'll play with that tonight ans see what I can learn. I hope the other guy had some luck also.
I wonder of there is a ul sensor that went bad? I may pull the back off again and look inside to see if any springs are broken too.
What is really bothersome is that this machine only a year and a half old and it is having major issues. One would think that a $1000+ machine would last at least 15 years...

If its that new, go to the Sears store where you bought it from and talk to the store manager, they want to keep you as a customer, so they will likely pay the cost to have it fixed.

Oasis Spin Cycle uL error code
We had exactly the same problem with our Kenmore Oasis HE top loading washer. It generated a "uL" code at either 11 minutes or 7 minutes to go in the spin cycle. I followed the advice I found on one of these boards, and it worked perfectly! Specifically, I did the following:
1. Adjust the feet using a level to verify that the unit was sitting level on the floor.
2. I replaced the suspension rods (AP4340124). This made it work just like it did when it was brand new!

I had repairman come and he cleaned the tub shaft after taking the tub out and then replaced the basket hub and works like new.
