Dryer Problem
when I put a load in the dryer and close the door.I turn the timer knob and the burner lights without pushing the start button. Nothing else runs until I push the start button. What is causing this.

wow, thats interesting, never seen that happen on a gas dryer, just electric. I'll need to ask Jeff on this one.

Hi,
Motor heat switch must be stuck/welded closed for the heat to work without the motor running.
Motor assembly - 11087670100
