Kenmore elite 665 green clean light flashing
Kenmore Elite 665 Clean light flashing?
I have had this dishwasher for 3 yrs. The problem originated when the rinse light came on and stayed on despite my filling the rinse indicator. A tech came to my house and replaced the electronics on the front panel. Now the green clean light is on and continously flashing. He says he has to replace the door latch and the heating element. I am hopeful it is something else because I would like to use it .

Do you have a service contract on this? If so, then i wouldn't recommend opening it up to try to fix it yourself.
The cleaning light blinking is a fault code listed in the tech. service sheet, its usually a faulty heating circuit. Hopefully the element that he ordered will take care of it, as long as he tested all the other parts correctly.

Thanks
He mentionned he was going to order the element but was having trouble as it was not readily available. That is what he thought was the problem. We had the recent problem down here re storms so when the power was restored it could have just messed up the electronics. I feel better knowing that that is the correct solution. I bought an extended warranty third yr in a row and the first time I used it. Great site by the way.
