Default Good Washer Dryer

I know that a lot of the users on this site are repair techs, so I don't want to knock the Whirlpool/Kenmore too much -as it is probably good money for you , but I would like to know from the technician's point of view, who makes the best washer/dryer based on cost to reliability?

Thanks,
Clay

Well, the least repairs i have to go on is the Sears Kenmore made by Whirlpool and the Whirlpool brand itself.

The top loaders are lower in price, but i recommend the front loaders, they do a wonderful job and very reliable.

Maytag, Admiral, and Frigidaire are good too.
