They shoot dishwashers, don't they?
Brand:
Sears Kenmore
Age:
More than 10 years
OK, I know it is old, but everything seems to be working properly. I jimmied the door so I could watch it spray and drain. I took apart and cleaned everything* as best I could right down to the chopper and drain. Cleaned all the tubes and arms. And still things on the upper rack do not get very clean and all the glasses have a white fog on them.
Is there just a point when God just wants to bring a dishwasher home?
Thank you all!!
*The filter assembly is disgusting inside, but I assume there is no way to open and clean it?

Yes, the average life of dishwashers now is only 8-12 years.
Sounds like the wash impeller may be cracked and causing this.
Here's the impeller kit for your model, the black one is the wash impeller:
Manufacturer part number 675806 is RepairClinic item number 679717

Thank you so much for your reply! I just had the wash impeller out and saw no apparent cracks?

Ok, then new motor/pump time or new dishwasher time.
If you can wait till Memorial Day Weekend most appliance stores have Memorial Day Weekends sales, save lots of $$$ on a new dishwasher.
