Question kenmore 80 - draining while agitating

After surviving a night of below freezing temperatures, my Kenmore belt drive washer now starts draining as soon as it clicks in to the agitation part of the cycle. It does not drain while filling, and it stops draining if you pull out the timer knob. All other parts of the cycle function properly(except for constant draining). When it is supposed to be draining, it drains a little faster.

The drain hose is where it always functioned properly.

Not sure what part to replace or what to check?

Its a Kenmore 80 Heavy Duty+ #82380710, thawed out with a space heater

Hi,

Sounds like either the wigwag/transmission is bad , or your water pump is bad.

Unfortunately they don't make the transmissions for these anymore.
This link will help you find which one it is:
