Oven won't heat
Brand:
Sears Kenmore
Age:
6-10 years
Neither the bake nor the broil element will heat. The clock and controls light up. We replaced the controller board but this did not solve the problem. What else can we try?
Thanks

Is this the part you replaced:
Oven Control Board WB27T10305 Order now for same day shipping. 365 day return policy. RepairClinic.com
Does the touchpad buttons still work and let you set the temperature on the oven? But no heat at all?
Turn the breaker off to your oven and open the control panel and ohm test your thermal fuses(take the wires off them first) #158 and #159 here:

And see if they both have continuity.
Here's the thermal fuse #158:

Here's the thermal fuse #159:
Thermal Fuse WB24T10059 Order now for same day shipping. 365 day return policy. RepairClinic.com

Thanks so much for your reply. Yes that is the board we ordered and replaced. The touchpad buttons work and even make clicking noises like they are telling the oven to heat up, but no heat in the elements. I will try testing the thermal fuses when I get home tonight.

Jake, we tested and #159 did not show continuity. We have ordered the part. Will let you know if it works next week when we get it. Thanks a million.

Thats odd, that should of fixed it. Then I'm stumped as well to what it could be.
You'll likely need to have Sears come out and see whats causing this.
