Accessing pump on Kenmore washer/dryer combo
Last night my Kenmore washer/dryer combo threw water all over the floor during the spin cycle. My guess is that I have a clogged drain hose or something is wrong with the pump. My question is how to pull the back cover off the the washer/dryer combo to access the pump and hose to diagnose the true problem. My model #417.93802200 It's a Kenmore electric washer/dryer combo. Top loading washer and front loading dryer.

On your model the pump is accessed from the front, just take off the 2 very bottom screws from the front washer panel, then that panel slides down to unlock it, then it will come off, and you will see the pump on the left side in the front.

I just got back from the sears service center with an exploded schematic of the washer. I should have waited just a little while longer for a reply. Anyways, it turned out to be one of my little girl's socks stuck in the pump as I suspected. Thanks anyways!
