Kenmore Elite Trio 795.75199401 water leaking from door
Hi Everyone,
I have a Kenmore Trio Elite bottom freezer 795.75199401 that is only 13 months old and is leaking water from the inside left door on the bottom.
I took off the plastic panel that was there (below the door shelf) and behind it is a Tank Assembly (615A) and a Valve Assembly (619B). The water seems to be pooling below the Tank assembly. I took one of the screws out that is holding in the Tank and I didnt see any water leaking from it. Anyone come across this problem??? What is this tank for anyway??? It wasnt full when I was looking at it.
I also turned off the ice maker and still leaked.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Bruce

Hi,
I haven't repaired this model yet, but I assume that tank is to hold chilled water, and the valve releases the water into the water dispenser, although I'm surprised that water valve is in the door as well, because all that i have seen are in the back mounted onto the back of the refrigerator.
Hopefully another tech. or member can help you out on this issue.

I have seen 2 of these both were leaking at the connection between the water valve and tank. The tank connects directly to the valve. I replaced both parts to be sure to correct leak. Probably the quick disconect on the valve giving the problem but if there are any scratches on the plastic tank end that can also cause it. Also when putting it back together try to keep valve and tank inline as much as possible.
