Kenmore Electric Range Model 790
This oven circulates warm air during the baking process. When baking is complete and oven is turned off, the air continues to blow for long periods of time - an hour or more. Is that normal?

Hi,
790. is the beginning of a model#.
My own oven/range has a cooling fan that can/will run after the oven has been shut off to keep the controls/electronics cooled until the oven temp is low enough and then the fan shuts off on it's own.
I don't believe that I have heard mine run for an hour or more after regular baking...it does run longer after we do a self cleaning cycle.

Kenmore Electric Range Model 790.4635
Thanks, Jeff.
The full model no. is 790.4635. It causes a little concern when I use the oven and then immediately leave the house knowing that operation will continue for such a long time.

I found...
790.46351400 790.46351401 790.46352400 790.46352401 790.46353400 790.46353401 790.46353402 790.46353403 790.46354400 790.46354401 790.46359400 790.46359401
All of these show a thermostat controlled cooling fan...maybe the thermostat is sticking and staying on longer than normal?
