I have Kenmore model 106.8770687 that is leaking water into the refrigerator compartment and believe that the drain tube may be clogged. In an effort to get to the drain tube the freezer compartment floor panel has to be removed. In previous posts you mention that to remove the floor panel just remove 2 screws in front and the floor panel just pulls out. The post was for Kenmore model 106. but not specifically for my model. If the removal is the same as my model would you kindly advise the exact location of the two screws (freezer or refrig compartment). If removal is not the same will you be good enough to explain the removal process. I'm OK in removing evaporator cover and ice maker. Once again, thanks.

This is an older unit - you should be able to access the drain (34) without removing the bottom panel. |
