Kenmore microwave
I have a Kenmore over the stove microwave, model #665.62612200 that has worked fine for 3 years. Last week it started beeping eradically while cooking and eventually shut off. Now that is all it does. It usually will go about a minute before the beeping starts but will not go past two minutes before shutting off. Is it worth repairing and is it something a weekend repairman (me) can do?

Hi,
Any fault codes show on the display? Any funny/funky writting on the display? What shuts off/down? The entire unit, the display, the cooking? jeff.

When this first happened, the display would become a little distorted when it beeped. The last two times I tried it, the whole unit shuts off after about 30 seconds, no beeping, nothing in the display. I can hit the "add a minute" button and it will start again but has the same result.
