Default Kenmore 70 Series - Thermal Fuse ?

I have cleaned out the vent - yes with a leaf blower there is nothing left in that pipe! I have reset my fuse box at least 50 times today. I have pulled out the plug & put it back in. Is it the thermal fuse? And is it visible that it is blown or not? Here is what happens....I turn it to timed dry & I hear it clicking...I push Start - nothing..I go and flip the fuses...come back and once in awhile I will hear a click, but now nothing...so I came online & read about cleaning out the vent, that is done....I went back to the flip fuse and try again, and still nothing......PLEASE help me...my car is in the shop for oil leaking & I just paid a plumber because of the kids blocking the toilet.....I just am hoping that if it is the fuse it is somthing that I can do & not pay to do....or I will be going to the laundry mat for awhile.

Now you will have to go more in depth with checking everything, you will need a volt/ohm meter and this reading link:

Default Not the Thermal Fuse

Well, now when my husband did the breaker, it started - sort of the first time it had heat & I thought WOW I am going to get to do laundry - it sort of heats up but not as hot as it should and after it is done, I open the door and it goes dead again. He did the tester at the outlet and got juice to it. Should I start having him test something inside? Can you give me an idea of which one it may likely be?

If your husband turned the breaker off and on and it started to work to some extent, I would look at your home breaker to the dryer being the issue, breakers over time can wear out and start going bad as well.

Read down at the 4th paragraph here at this link:
