KC73 is on a distinguished road
Default another Ice Maker problem

I have a Kennmore side by side (I don't have the model number infront of me) but the ice maker is the same that is covered in the Job Aid Part no. 4322658A...

My problem is that the ejector blades seem to freeze up inside the freezing ice and then won't eject the ice once its made. I have dislodged the blades twice and it runs through its harvest and dumps the ice as normal.

The blades then come back around and stops just below the ice stripper ramp... Then freezing just barely inside the ice again.

So a few questions, first is this the correct position for the ejector blades and two why won't the blades push the ice out? Does it sound like an ice jam inside the unit that is causeing the ice from harvesting? Or is there something far worse going on here...

The unit is less than a year old.
