Thread: gas oven turns self on!

I grew up fixing everthing and I'm nervous about telling my grandpa to buy the part. I found a better deal for 150 dollars but that is still a lot of money. He wants to know if he should buy a new stove ($500). I'm going to take his stove apart and look at the wiring diagram. Then we'll see if I can understand it and test the electronic control with my multi tester. This is what I need help with.

Yes, this is very unusual, but i would say it would be in the control board assembly.
