Question Kenmore(Admiral) Mark 2 model C880; burners & oven stopped working

We had a circuit breaker trip when too many appliances were running at the same time. Switched the breaker back on and now the burners and oven do not work. All of the lights work so it is receiving power, just not to the burners and oven. Out of all the online searching about this I only came across one small paragraph on one site that mentioned that in this situation there may be a seperate breaker or circuit, or fuse within the oven that may need to be reset or replaced. Well the circuit breakers are fine and I had replaced the fuses???? Is there maybe some other fuse hidden somewhere in the oven. I did open the back and have a look. Nothing obvious seemed wrong there. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Not sure we can help you here unless we can pull up information on your model, lots of appliances from Canada we don't have model# information at all.

We can try, but we will need your complete model#.

Arrow Thanks Jake; model #...

Thank you Jake. The complete model # is C880.6206080; serial # 7BD11822. It's a Sears Kenmore, which was actaully made by Admiral(Inglis). It's a pretty old (20 years+) yet basic coil element range. One thing I don't understand is how oven technology could be so different between models of a particular type of range that common problems don't have common solutions???

I know I'll need to get another range eventually, but I can't spend the $600-$1000 right now for the new one, especially if I can just spend $100-$200 to get it running again.

Definately would appreciate help on this, and thanks to anyone able to respond.

Rob

Ok, thanks, but unfortunately, I can't pull up any information on that model# here in the USA. All of the Sears Kenmore that are made here at built by Whirlpool, Frigidaire, etc. Non by Admiral.

Jeff lives and has a appliance repair shop in Canada, he may be able to help you. You can message him, his username here is jeff1.
