Unhappy Lady Kenmore dryer gets hot, trips circuit breaker

Lady Kenmore dryer starts up, runs about 10 mintues then trips the circuit breaker. The info (as best as I can read it)

Stock number 68910 (or it could be (6B910)

model number 6808912W00 (or it could be 68D8912W00).

When it has stopped, the top of the machine does feel kinda hot, like it is over heating.

Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

Hi,

Sounds like your dryer breaker in your home breaker box to the dryer receptacle outlet is going bad.

Pull the dryer away from the wall, then disconnect the exhaust hose, and let it run with a load in it, if it still runs about 10 minutes and kicks the breaker off, then your dryer is fine, its your breaker to the dryer in your home breaker box causing this issue.

You would then need to call an electrician to replace it.

Jake
