I am having a problem with my ice maker, checked and the line is not frozen optics seem ok motor in the door turns ice dispenser, but water does not go into the icemaker
Should there be water present at the solenoid at all times or is this solenoid triggered by something I have water in the door but as I said no water going into the icemaker Thanks for any help you can give bh |

Hi,
Yes, water should always be present at the water inlet solenoid. Double check your black rubber fill tube that comes down from the freezer ceiling, I have seen ice get in there where you cant see it, stick something in that to see. If thats fine, then the only thing left is to change your water inlet valve. Here is a new one for your model, in case you need to order it: Water inlet valve kit Jake
