I have a kenmore microwave model # 721.64682300. Just started to display the f9 error code. The microwave runs for about 5 seconds and then displays the errorcode. Can someone please tell me what this code means and can I fix it.
Thanks, Clay |

According to the documentation I found in the panel of my Kenmore model 721.16362300 it's an inverter failure. 1) Unplug for at least 40 sec. see if this solves the problem 2) Check the resistance of the thermostat should be close to 0 OHM 3) check wiring to the inverter and control system 4) replace inverter module 5) If problem persists, replace control system assembly.
