We came home to find dry clothes, but the dryer was still running. We used Timer mode, but the timer counted down to just before the "OFF" position, which I think is labled "touch-up", but stopped there and ran continuously. At this point, the aire was cold (I think).
In any case, now, the dryer won't heat up, but the timer (in timer mode) will count down to just before it is supposed to turn off then stops. All I can tell you is that the exhaust is not clogged. The air seems to be exhausting and usual, only it is cold. Is there dependence on the timer working properly for the dryer to ignite? Or will the timer not cycle through "OFF" properly if the dryer is not heating up (for whatever reason) I have a hard time beleiving that, coincidently, the timer and something else went afoul. I'm not necessarily looking for a definative solution here, only the best place to start checking. The laundry is building up and I only have evenings to work on it. (I refuse to subscribe to planned obsolecence and purchase new washer and dryer) BTW... I am fairly good w/ electronics and own multimeter. thanx in advance ![]() |

Please check your model# again, I can't pull up any info on that one.
So, now your dryer will not heat at all in any cycle? Jake
