Washer cycles fills and drains, but does not agitate or spin. Water pump operates. Slight left and right agitator movement when moved by hand, but causes a metal on metal contact noise when this is done. Does this sound like a coupler, gearcase, clutch or brake problem?????

Yes, its sounds like your motor coupler is broken.

Jake,

I damaged the motor shield during motor removal. It is 80% intact can it be reused or should it be replaced??

I remember another member did this same thing, and I told them it was ok, not to worry about it, It will still run great like that.

Haven't heard from them since.
