New 700 series gas dryer making thumping noise
I am new to this forum as you can see by my posts. Just bought a new dryer and one of the reasons for buying a new one was that it needed to be quieter. This new one is making a thumping noise with or without it being loaded. Sounds like a heart beat. I am assuming that it is either the rollers or the drum has some bump or flat spot. Question is since it is new do I take it back and just replace it or have a tech come out a repair it? I dont like the idea of having to have someone come out and fix a brand new appliance but I also don't like the idea of boxing this thing up and taking it back just so I can do this all over again.
What do yall think. Am I right about the cause of the noise? I have run about a dozen loads through it.

Its either your drum(out of round) or your rollers with flat spots on them, Its probably easier to just Contact Sears to have a tech. come out to fix it for free, when I was with Sears I went out on alot of these that were new like yours to repair them, and never heard back from the customers again.
