Kenmore SxS 25357682790 Dispenser problem
I have a 10 year old Kenmore, model #25357682790 side-by-side. I guess it might be a Frigidaire with the Kenmore name, but whatever.
The water/ice dispenser isn't working. The ice maker still works. When I hit the dispenser switch, nothing happens. And the dispenser light doesn't turn on, whether its activated from the water/ice dispenser switch, or the light on/off switch. (Bulb looks fine).
I hope these are all good enough clues for someone to advise me where to look for the problem.
While I'm at it, how do I get the dispenser trim cover off? I've taken out all visable screws, and it's still stuck. Do I need to pry it off? If it's held on by sticky tape, should I plan on replacing the cover?
Thanks for any help.

may be electrical
if you have 2 symptoms (not dispensing and no light coming on) it may be an electrical switch or connection, you will need a meter to start checking
check out www3.sears.com for a parts breakdown of the fridge. with an older frisge you might look for corrosion too.

Here is the dispenser parts diagram:

Remove the module cover#28 then remove the screws#26, the use a putty knife to remove the trim, its all 1 piece, it has double-sided tape on it, don't worry about that, it will go back on fine, when you re-install it.
