The door got left open on my Kenmore Elite 106.54602300 side-by-side freezer. Apparently melted ice got down into the dispenser unit in the door and refroze after we shut the door. It won't let any ice dispense, but water does come out of the water dispenser.

We have emptied the ice bucket, which seems to still be allowing ice to melt, but we think the problem is in the dispenser down in the door. How do we get down into the dispenser unit in the door to see what's going on?

You would need to take out the #26 screws from your dispenser frame#21 here:

And on some models they have 2 small slots underneath the bottom of the dispenser frame that just unsnaps with a flathead screwdriver.
