Default Kenmore Elite Washer not draining

Need help! Diapers piling up, wife's on my case.

Kenmore Elite washer (SM 9711024??)
(Sorry at the office and don't have the model #, but it's the Catalyst top loader). Parts #: 3954052

Did a diagnostics test (Neutral Drain/Spin) all shows t4 but instead of draining, the water re-circulates through. Same with all speeds.

Checked the gearcase and tried to clean things out, but did not see any debris.

Not mechanically/electronically inclined so I have not tested the voltage measurements.

If there's any way to determine what the problem is with just this info? If so would be greatly appreciated.

If you can inform part, where to buy, and how to install, you would be a hero (and my wife's savior).

Do not know if relevant; no particular noises (beeps, clicking, humming, etc), smells (burnt), or LEDS blinking.

All it does is re-circulate the water through when it should be draining.

Thanks for looking!

Default Serial # for washer

The model # is: 110.20056992
Ser: CJ3703316
Type: 111

Not sure, but I don't think it's the lid switch since the agitator starts when shut. Also, the water starts and stops to "re-cycle" the water when the lid opens and shuts as well.

I pumped the water out once during a cycle (when it should have been draining) and it started up in the spin cycle with no water in it.

Again, not mechanically inclined but when I was clearing the tubes out, I tried pushing the diaphram (?) which connects both the drain tube and re-cycle tube, and there was some resistance (spring) but it didn't feel jammed.

Hope this info helps.

Thanks.

Thanks,

Was it this part that you pushed? The 2-way valve?

Did you tilt the washer and push it from underneath, or did you take off the cabinet? Its better access if you take off the cabinet, here's a link to show you:
Read#2 here:

On this model it has a 2-way valve thats mounted inside the washer on the lower rear panel. I remember replacing one of these a couple of years ago, and it fixed it.

Here is the one for your model:
