Default Quiet Partner I - blinking clean light

My QPI is currently stuck in a blinking clean loop. I have cut power to the unit to try to hard reboot to no avail. Hitting cancel just starts the drain cycle and even when I get that cleared it doesn't allow for the next load to start washing. How do I reset this dishwasher?

    Hi,

Whats the model# of your dishwasher? Its located inside the door.

Here's the thread that explains the blinking clean light:

Your Whirlpool is identical to the KitchenAid in that thread.

I have the 7 blinking lights also. The water in the washer is lukewarm not hot and the heating element is not warm to the touch. I would think that the element should at least be warm if not hot. Correct?

it is a Whirlpool du1148xtp. I did the open door, high temp wash/heated dry-repeat, close door/cancel many times and did get it to run one full cycle on normal with heated dry. but I have gotten the blinking clean on several other attempts. As I stated before I can touch the heating element with my finger and it does not feel hot. Also realized this post is for QP-1 and mine is a QP-2 if that matters.

Thanks, but your still missing some digits after the "p" at the end of your model#.

    This video explains about it:

You can ohm your heating element as well.

Here's the heating element for your model you can order here:
    Manufacturer part#W10134009 is RepairClinic item#1381534
    W10134009

    Here's a video to access/change it:

    Keep us posted.

    Ok Its a B1 after the p. So your model# is du1148xtpb1.

Yours uses the heater I posted just above, go ahead and ohm it per that video.

Also feel the element, if it has bumps/pits in it, its definitely bad.
