    Default Kenmore Portable dishwasher Not getting water

    I have a few years old Kenmore portable dishwasher Model # 665.17439001 I hooked it up to the sink with the adaptor but it doesnt seem to be getting water to the dishwasher It turns on and runs it cycle but no water...please help

    #32 here is your float:

    Check that first, move it up and down, you should hear a clicking sound.

    Your float may be stuck.

    Default Thanks Jake But...

    Thanks for sending me the info on the float I bought this dishwasher used It doesnt have the #32 float as in the diagram. It didnt come with one. Its missing. DO i need it? I was going to replace the Valve/regulator where the main water hose come into . It looks like its the first valve the hose go into from the fauset. Its on the bottom near the front Its white and is hooked on a metal bracket and has 120 v 60mz 7w writen on the bracket. it looks like its down around where 23-24 are. Any other Ideas please let me know

    Yes, you definitely need a float.

    Here's the float for your model:
