    Default WBVH5100HWW cycle problem

I have a WBVH5100HWW Front Loader that will stop at 1 minute, make lock solenoid noise, then Start/Pause light starts blinking and unit never completes cycle. If I push the Start/Pause button, it turns on the drain pump motor, although there is no water in tank. Then it stops again, makes the same noise and returns to flashing light. By the way, the door locked light is on, although the door is unlocked. I can get it to reset for 1 cycle if I unplug it and leave it unplugged for at least 24 hrs. no less. Less than that and it returns to the previous state.

    Hi Patrick,

Does the drum inside turn at all when this happens?

If so, then its possibly the control board.

Here's the control board assembly for this model you can order:
Manufacturer part number WH12X10355 is RepairClinic item number 1264503
    WH12X10355

If you purchase parts from our links here and you install them and it doesn't fix the problem, you have a 30 day full refund when you return them.

The control board is #104 here:

If the drum doesn't turn, then its possibly the motor inverter as fiveliter8 found out it was on his in this thread:

Here's the inverter motor board for this model:

I waited 24 hrs until it would reset, then entered test mode. I received an error code of E54, but the tests t10,t11, tested fine. No t14 on this unit. I cleared the error and the unit ran 1 full cycle down to 1 minute, then, once again, locked up there. Had to unplug unit and wait another 24 hrs. for it to reset again. During that time, I could not access test mode, and locked light stayed lit even though door was unlocked. Could this error code be an erroneous code being thrown by the Control Bd? Do you have a repar manual in PDF for this Model?
