Default [FIXED] Super Capacity 465 model SF379LEKB Oven Issue

    Model Number: SF379LEKB
    Brand: Whirlpool

We have a Super Capacity 465 model SF379LEKB, initially, when the oven is cold it ignites and heats to the desired temp. Should we want to change the temp in any direction (increase / decrease) the oven shuts down. Additionally, after about 60 to 90 minutes of baking at a constant temp the oven shuts down. We do hear the igniter "click" for a few seconds but the oven does not relight. Only after the oven cools enough and the display indicates the "pre" condition (pre-heating) will the oven re-light.

Lastly in October '09 the range was serviced by an independent appliance repair technician. The problem at the time was E1-F5 codes with no oven functions. These code appeared after we tried to use the self clean feature. The tech replaced the Cln Ctrl part.

    Default Problem Resolved

Just wanted to follow-up and say thanks. Per your reply I replaced the overn burner / igniter. Replacing the part was easy and went with-out a hitch. I will say followed the trouble shooting process. However, whenever I tested the electrical connections the oven would not act up. After the oven multiple times with nothing to prove I just ordered the part.

    Thanks again for your help.
