Default [FIXED] Doors will not self close and are out of alignment

    Model Number: KSRA25ILSS01
    Brand: KitchenAid

My KitchenAid KSRA25ILSS01 side by side doors will no longer self close and with the kids it's becoming a problem. The cams are worn on both doors and I have found the shavings on the floor. Is there a cam kit available for this model?

I see where you have recommended the below for another member but I don't see my model refrigerator listed. Will this work?

The doors are now more noticeably out of alignment at the top due to the worn cams. They always were from day 1 but not this bad. Refrigerator door is lower than the freezer door. I would like to align them when I make this repair.

I have the door removal instructions. Is that what I need to do to install the cams and align the doors?

    Thanks for your help.

Yes the cam kit is for your model as well.

To raise the refrigerator door I use a plastic spacer on the bottom refrigerator door hinge to shim it up to match the freezer door. You can get that at any hardware store.

Default Fixed: Doors will not self close and are out of alignment

Upper cam on refrigerator side had no teeth left on it and the freezer side had rotated out of position somehow (screw fell out). Replaced both sides.

Kit had everything needed. Relatively easy repair. It is easier if you have a helper.

    Thanks again Jake.
