Default Washer Soaking Clothes at End of Spin Cycle

    Model Number: WTW57ESVW1
    Brand: Whirlpool

My mother-in-law has a Whirlpool "Auto Load with Triple Spray Technology" washer that is just over a year old. It has developed a problem where it dumps a couple gallons of water in the tub after the end of the final spin cycle. I'm thinking something's up with the timer where it's telling the fill valve to turn on. As always, appreciate your help in advance!

So what your saying is when the cycle is all done you actually hear/see the water going in fast?

Yes, that is correct. Also, the washer now goes into agitate mode during the initial fill cycle (while it's filling).

Interesting, I found another member with your exact model and exact problem here:

I recommended the timer, but he didn't come back to say if the new timer fixed it, so I just asked him now, he should get an auto email, and hoping he will confirm the timer fixed his.

Let me know if you hear back from him, if not I'm assuming it makes sense that its got to be the timer. Thanks for your help.
