    Default substitution for norton model 501a

    Model Number: JGS968SH1SS
    Brand: GE

    I have traced my oven problem to the ignitor which is a

    Norton 501A model 0536 with another number: 229C5216P001;

    Can you give me a place to find a correct replacement number for it. I see that many people have had mechanics telling them that a replacement is ok even though it has less or more required amperage.

    I appreciate your knowledge and willingness to help.
