    Default Lock Door Message

I have a Kenmore 362.75990000 Gas Range. The message "Lock Door" flashes on the display, even though I did not activate the cleaning feature. I am unable to clear this message, or operate the cleaning feature to clear it. In addition, I'm unable to use the oven. No New Year's Day pie for me. Any help will be appreciated!

    Hi,

Did you try to turn the breaker off to it for about 2 minutes? Sometimes that will reset it.

I didn't turn the house breaker off. I didi unplug it for a few minutes, but no results. Is there a reset button in the oven somewhere? According to the schematics this message is displayed when the oven heats to 600 + degrees.

No, there's not a reset button in the range. Its either the oven sensor, control board thats giving you this problem, if you wanted to try to fix it yourself, here's a link that should help:

This range was made by GE, I do not find a fault code for Lock Door for this brand, others did show the problem to be a defective door lock assy., but do not go by that for a sure fix..you need to find the tech sheet in your range to see what this means for your unit...
