Default oven does not maintain temp.

Jake I unplugged oven and tried to get an ohm reading of my oven temp. sensor I get nothing could my oven work at all if this is correct reading?Do I have to take temp probe off oven to check I checked mine while still in just unplugged from male peice it goes into .Or do you reall think my problem lies with the bake burner igniter?Just checked it with two differant meters with it out and still get no reading could this be my problem?

No, you just unplug the range first, then unsnap the little plastic connector that goes to the oven sensor in the back of your range, then do the ohm test from back there on the oven sensor side of that connector.

Watch this video on how to test it:

Let us know what it reads.

Default oven will not maintain temp.

I did take the temp. probe out and checked it from the backside and get a reading of OL.Does this mean the probe is bad and could this be my problem?Like I said before if you crack the door wait about 10 minutes the oven will relight and keep the temp. usually.

Yes, because it should read between 1000-1100 ohms at room temperature.

Are you sure your meter is working right? I don't I've ever seen one read nothing.

Here's the one for your model you can order here:
    Manufacturer's Number: 8273340
