Default GE Washer doesn't go into high speed spin.

    Model Number: WKSE6280B2WW
    Brand: GE
    Age: 6-10 years

All features and cycles of the washer works, but doesn't kick into high speed spin. When it tries to go into high speed, it kicks back and tries again every few seconds making aloud noise and recoils back and forth.

    Thanks for the prompt response.

No Jeff...doesn't sound like that. It runs fine in slow spin. When it tries to go into high speed spin it bucks back and forth when it tries to engage high speed ... like the brake goes on and off. Once in a while it does engage into high speed spin OK, but mostly not.

    I have a video...can I send it to you?

    Thanks
