Default Oven door is locked, but open, can't close it. Light is on.

    Model Number: ACF4265AB
    Brand: Amana
    Age: 1-5 years

My Amana oven range says "the big oven" on the front. Someone tried/started to clean it. The cleaning process was starting, messages were flashing. They openned the door. The door latch locked. The oven did not clean because the door was open. We tried various ways to get it to unlock. Then we pulled the plug for several hours. Still, the door won't fully close because the latch has moved to the right. And the light is still on. How can I get it to unlock? Is there a code I can enter? How do I enter it?

Set the control back into self clean and with your finger push in the door switch then press cancel.
