Default Frigidaire FGHC2345LF2 Side By Side forming condensation and water in fruit/vegetable drawer

    Model Number: FGHC2345LF2
    Brand: Frigidaire
    Age: Less than 1 year

    Hi,

I have had the fridge for about 5 months and it has been forming condensation and water inside the vegetable/fruit drawer (second from the bottom). I have tried raising the temperature in the fridge, but this does not help. On the same level as the drawer there is an air duct that delivers cold air, could that be the problem?

    Thank you!

    Any help is much appreciated!

Yes, the damper or thermistor could be an issue. You need to call Frigidaire to schedule a warranty service call. If you attempt a repair you risk losing your warranty.

Thanks for the reply. What can be done with the damper or thermistor? I had a technician over on a warranty service call and he couldn't figure anything out.

Checked and replaced if faulty. I have no information on that model. Maybe too new.

You need to get Frigidaire back out to resolve this for you, they are required by law to fix this problem or you get a new refrigerator.
