Default Whirlpool washer spinning but wont agitate!!

Hello i hope all is well.. I am having a problem with my Whirlpool Heavy Duty Super Capacity Plus Model#LSC8244D. It does not use a drive belt and it spins without a problem but when it is time to agitate the clothing, especially a large load, it just wont agitate. It also drains very well and spins very fast but the plastic agitator inside the tub does not move back and forth.
I noticed a thread talking about agitator dogs and i wanted to know if it was the same in my washer.. Please any help will be kindly appreciated. Thanks everyone for looking..

    Hi,

Does the bottom part of your agitator move at all back and forth and not the top part?

If the agitator does not move at all period, then its either your agitator spline is bad, or your transmission shaft is broken, you will need to remove the agitator to see if the transmission shaft is turning back and forth while its running in the wash cycle.

    Default whirlpool wont agitate

Thanks Jake and yes the shaft is good so it looks like the spline is broken somewhere. Is there possibly a diagram so i can check to see exactly what parts i need? Thanks for replying

I looked it up and I only see it coming as a complete assembly.

    You can order it here:

Sounds good, glad you got it fixed.

I found the cam kit assembly which includes the dogs, so others can order it if they need to:
