    Default Maytag LA512 series 10 leaking

    Seems to only leak when it is filling. Leak seems to come out from under the back left hand side (when you are standing in front of it facing the control panel) which seems to indicate some issue with maybe a leaky hose or valve when it is filling? I can't see anything without taking it apart and then don't know if I'll know what to look for. The model is Magtag LA512 series 10. Any helpful advice for where to look would be appreciated.

    Yes, I used to run across this issue in the 80's through the mid-90's. You injector valve has gone bad when its filling with water.

    They have made a new kit for this, which includes the small clamps as well, as some can get very rusty after being on a washing machine for many years.

    Thank you Jake! I called the 800 number and ordered the water inlet injector tube & nozzle kit today. This forum is wonderful and I really appreciate your fast response!

    This 53 year old Grandma was easily able to replace the injector valve with the kit and your instuctions!! Total for my repair was $13.60 which included the shipping!! Jake, thank you SO much!!
